About UTM Zone 45N
UTM zone 45N covers longitudes 84°E to 90°E in the northern hemisphere, with its central meridian at 87°E. On the WGS 84 datum it needs no datum shift, so eastings and northings convert straight to the latitude and longitude Google Earth uses.
Where it's used: Eastern India (Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneswar), Kathmandu and eastern Nepal, and western Bhutan including Thimphu.
